Biography

Luca's biography has to begin talking about his father, who was keen on Jazz music and who got Luca to listen to Parker and Gillespie, Ellington's Big Band and Basie's , to Joao Gilberto and Jobim.

At the age of ten, Luca began to study music and two years later he enrolled at Parma Conservatory.
When he was 16, Luca was rejected from the Conservatory, due to the fact that he was considered unsuitable to study the piano.

Some years later, he worked as a musician on a cruise liner, cruising from San Pedro to Acapulco, from Seattle to Juneau.

In the following years, he collaborated with different bands and singers, playing, disco-music, punk-filosovietico (CCCP), pop (Gianni Morandi, Eugenio Finardi, Fiordaliso, Silvia Mezzanotte, Kikkombo, Mietta), soul (Aida Cooper), swing (Paolo Belli) and jazz (Stefania Rava, Bop Studio, la Jazz Art Orchestra, Jenny B).

"From Winter To Spring" (p&c 2008, j-digital) is his first album.
