Biography

Jenny was born in Sicily and is half Italian and half Senagalese. She grew up in northern Italy and began singing when she was 15. She has performed backing vocals with major Italian rock and pop artists such as Zucchero, Ligabue, Celentano, Gemelli Diversi and many others. She was the lead singer of Funky Company.

In 2000 she took part in the world famous San Remo song competition and won first prize and the Mia Martini prize awarded by the critics with "Semplice sai", a track she wrote herself.

In 2007 the album "Jenny B In Concert" came out. In this LP Jenny B, together with the Italian jazz musicians Toni Fidanza (Piano), Gabriele Pesaresi (Bass), Roberto Desiderio (Drums) and Jerry Popolo (Sax), performs a selection of jazz classics such as "Summertime" and "Misty".

Jenny's versatility, her vocal prowess and spellbinding stage presence is legendary in Italy and now the rest of the world is beginning to take notice.
